Are you going to have a camping trip? That is so exciting. Sometimes, it’s good to leave the corporate jungle to experience nature, don’t you think? I’m sure that you are looking forward to that. But before you go, you have to ensure that you have everything that you need. Remember, camping sites are far from convenience stores. You need to bring the most important things or else, you will have to go down the mountains to buy the forgotten items.
Is this your first time? Well, I can help you. I’ll list some of the must have things if you will go on a camping trip.
Of course, I don’t want to include the ‘obvious’ things that you have to bring like clothes and toiletries. I know you’re not dumb. I’m just going to tell you some of the little things that you shouldn’t forget.
Flash light. I know you are going to make a camp fire. But you still need to have a backup. What if it suddenly rains? You won’t be able to have a camp fire. Of course, you have to load your flashlight with batteries.
Knife. A must bring. You can forget your can opener but you shouldn’t forget your knife. This will be your life saver. You will need it for cooking, opening cans and of course, for defending yourself in case a wild creature visits.
Soap. Camping is to be with nature. That’s right. However, you shouldn’t smell like you’re trapped in the mountains for ages. I don’t mean that you have to bring all your shampoos, hair conditioners, lotions and the like. It’s time to get the all – in – one body soap. Your vanity can wait until you go home.
Insect repellent. We all know that outdoors can be filled with mosquitos. And we know what dengue carrying mosquitos can do to us. Prevent yourself from having that disease by putting insect repellent lotion.
Also, you might want to leave your shorts. Bring your long pants and jackets instead.
First Aid Kit. Remember, you are not in a Zoo where animals are caged. You are in the wild. It is very important that you carry a first aid kit. Good thing that some stores offer a ready – to – bring kits. You will have everything that you need for a first aid kit.
By bringing these, you can be sure that your camping trip will be fun and safe. Gear up and enjoy your nature adventure.
