Dump the Old and Bring in the New
So it is time for that pre-fall cleanup. Maybe you hit up several yard sales over the summer and it’s time rid yourself of the old and bring in the new. Or maybe you have kids leaving for college and you want to get rid of their things so you can turn that bedroom into a den or office. If you have tons of stuff that you know is going out then one of the smartest things you can do to make things easier on you and your family is to use a dumpster rental. Not only can it help make your clean up easier it will save you time. All the trips to the dump can be eliminated because everything you are tossing can be thrown in the dumpster to later be removed by the rental company. So all you have to worry about is the sorting and the actual tossing.
Try To Contain Yourself
If you are like my family, you keep a lot of stuff in either your basement or in the garage. You know, where the car should actually be. But over the years it is so easy to accumulate extra things that you just have no intention of using or even really need. I know the one thing that clutters up my basement is all the baby toys and clothes that I just couldn’t bring myself to get rid of. My kids are almost teenagers now and I really don’t think they need that little Mega Blocks set that has been collecting dust for 12 years.
The best part about renting a dumpster for you cleanup day is that the rental company does not care at all what your project is or what you are throwing away. So, if you have a situation where you need to or want to keep things private you can still do that. They deliver the dumpster and will come and pick it up when you are finished your clean-up. Your trash will be hauled away for good and you will be left with a wide open place in your home to collect and store new memories.
If you are in the process of various home improvements, it is also a great idea to you use a dumpster rental. This will give your contractor a place to put your old appliances, flooring, wallpaper, and drywall without having to pile it up on your front lawn. Again, once the dumpster is full it is hauled off and you never have to see it again.
Cleanup doesn’t have to be a grueling, dirty, dreaded job. If you plan ahead and rent a dumpster to safely, and cleanly hold your trash and the things you no longer want, the cleanup itself will go more smoothly. And the best part is that once it is gone, it really is gone. And having no more clutter is a great way to live.
