Summer has come to an abrupt end as it normally does. The kids are back in school and the weather is beginning to cool down. The relaxing summer atmosphere is beginning to die down while we unpack from our vacations and load the beach chairs back in the garage for next season. What do we have to look forward to? Football season!
As disappointing as it is to realize that Summer has come and gone way to fast, it is equally exciting to fish your favorite team jersey out of your closet and hope that this year, maybe, your team will make it to the Super Bowl.
Of course we would love to go to every game and be there in person to cheer for our team, but that isn`t always possible. And if you are lucky enough to be able to get your hands on some Season tickets, most likely, you wouldn`t be lucky enough to be able to go to every away game.
Although we can`t physically be at every game, watching it at home with friends can be just as fun and much more affordable when you factor in the cost of the tickets, the eight dollar hot dogs and the even more expensive beer. Some make a ritual out of Monday night football while others have huge potlucks for Sunday games; the point is, you can never go wrong with a Football party.
Although the adults are preoccupied with screaming at the television, the children who attend the football party will no doubt get bored. You need something to keep them entertained and occupied while you and your friends holler at your team as if they can hear you. Giant garden games, which can be played either inside or outside, are a great way to keep the kids entertained.
